Job Summary:

Our Boutique director oversees all aspects of boutique operations, from sales and marketing to staff management and inventory control. They ensure a luxurious customer experience, maintain high-quality product offerings, and drive sales growth through effective leadership, industry expertise, and strategic decision-making, ultimately maximizing profitability and brand reputation.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Direct Boutiques to achieve sales objectives as established in the Company’s Strategic Plan.
  2. Update the management on changing sales trends within the market to foster needed changes and adjust plans accordingly.
  3. Seeks new customers and new sales opportunities, initiates action plan to approach and secure new businesses for the Company
  4. Maximizes the usage of the salesforce™ CRM system by all the sales team by encouraging the team and reinforcing its benefits.
  5. Facilitate and convey feedback to the management regarding retail needs and challenges..
  6. Ensure that all boutique teams are aligned with the Company’s grooming standards, work etiquette and product displays are according to the 5s methodology.
  7. Closing the deal and managing the necessary processes as per Mouawad standards after sales with customers.
  8. Gathering market and customer information by engaging with customers and recording interests.
  9. Liaise with the marketing department for any special marketing activities needed t (e.g. Activations, Entertainment, Events, e.g.).
  10. Work along with the Marketing team by providing reports about customer requirements/preferences and advise what to advertise."
  11. Develops and implements sales objectives and goals in the boutique including sales targets and sales forecasts.
  12. Work closely with HR to identify and reward star performers through the Performance Management System and career/succession planning.
  13. Responds to any management project when assigned. Also, attending events and exhibitions.
  14. Suggests, monitors, and controls margins and discounts and ensures profitability of the boutique.
  15. Lead, develop, build, and influence a top-notch and experienced sales team, through continuous mentoring, training, and weekly meetings.
  16. Analyzes sales statistics to determine business growth potential, and monitors sales performance continuously
  17. Facilitate outdoor sales targeting HNWI and High-End Jewelry customers.
  18. Develop and maintain a strong work relationship with Mouawad’s key clients in the market.
  19. Ensure that all sales team contact the regular and potential customers through phone calls or direct contact.
  20. Executes and manages effectively every step of the sales process at an individual level and build a top notch sales team
  21. Sets quarterly personal and team objectives and ensures its execution and timely implementation.
  22. Run a survey in the market including competitors and share action plan with the Management team.
  23. Analyze sales statistics to determine business growth potential, and monitors sales performance continuously.
  24. Ensure proper stock levels are maintained and dead stock is depleted in the boutique.
  25. Reconcile the previous night sales reports.
  26. Responsible of securing and updating legal documents related to boutique
  27. Manage and follow-up orders by merchandising team and must have order.
Qualifications : 
  1. 12+ years of Experience in the Jewelry Industry: A strong background in the jewelry industry in retail sales, luxury goods, gemology, or jewelry design.

  2. Great Management and Leadership Skills

  3. Solid understanding to Sales and Marketing Expertise specific to the luxury goods industry. This includes experience in driving sales, developing marketing campaigns, and understanding customer needs and preferences.

  4. Product Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of jewelry materials, gemstones, craftsmanship, and industry trends is vital. 

  5. Customer Service Skills: Exceptional customer service skills are essential for building and maintaining positive relationships with clients. 

  6. Business Acumen: A strong understanding of business principles, including budgeting, inventory management, and profit maximization, is necessary for the successful operation of the boutique.

  7. Networking Abilities: The capability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers, designers, key people and other professionals in the industry.
