In this role, the Manager of a Single-Family Office will oversee the operations, financial management, and strategic planning for the Fralpa brothers. This position requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of investment strategies, financial management, estate planning, and the unique needs of affluent families. The role involves coordinating with external advisors, ensuring compliance, and managing all aspects of the family's financial affairs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Management:
   - Oversee budgeting, cash flow management, and financial reporting for family assets and entities. 
   - Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports. 
   - Monitor investment performance and provide recommendations in line with family objectives. 

2. Investment Oversight: 
   - Collaborate with investment advisors to develop and implement investment strategies. 
   - Conduct periodic reviews of portfolio performance and risk management. 
   - Research and propose new investment opportunities, ensuring alignment with the family’s risk tolerance and goals. 

3. Estate and Tax Planning:
   - Work closely with legal and tax advisors to develop and implement estate planning strategies. 
   - Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations. 

4. Operational Management:
   - Oversee the day-to-day operations of the family office.
   - Ensure proper insurance coverage for family assets and liabilities. 

5. Governance and Compliance: 
   - Establish and maintain a governance framework that aligns with the family's vision and values. 
   - Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and fiduciary responsibilities. 

6. Relationship Management:
   - Act as the primary point of contact for the family regarding their financial and personal affairs. 
   - Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, attorneys, and other external advisors. 
   - Facilitate effective communication among family members and stakeholders. 

7. Strategic Planning:
   - Assist in long-term financial and legacy planning, including philanthropy and succession planning. 
   - Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies. 
   - Prepare and present strategic plans to the family, ensuring alignment with their objectives. 

Qualifications and Skills

1. Education:
   - Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field. 
   - Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, CPA, CFA, or JD) preferred. 

2. Experience:
   - Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in financial management, investment advisory, or family office operations. 
   - Prior experience working with high-net-worth families is highly desirable. 

3. Technical Skills:
   - Strong knowledge of financial planning, investment management, and estate planning. 
   - Proficiency in financial software and tools for reporting and analysis. 
   - Familiarity with tax law and compliance requirements for high-net-worth individuals and family entities. 

4. Interpersonal Skills:
   - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence. 
   - Ability to build trust and maintain discretion in all interactions. 
   - Strong leadership and team management capabilities. 

5. Other Qualities:
   - Highly organized with excellent attention to detail. 
   - Strategic thinker with the ability to manage complex and multifaceted projects. 
   - Adaptability and flexibility to respond to changing priorities and family needs.
