PR and Communications Specialist ( temporary hire for 4-6 months)
This is a Temporary maternity leave replacement for 4-6 months.
The role involves overseeing marketing, PR and communications focusing on developing and executing integrated marketing plans to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and revenue.
The role will play a critical role in developing and implementing effective PR strategies that enhance our brand reputation, increase visibility, and drive business growth. You will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with key stakeholders, editors, press and influencers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute effective PR and media relations strategies that increase brand awareness and reputation.
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to develop messaging and communication strategies that effectively convey the company's goals, values, and mission.
- Build and maintain relationships with media contacts and external stakeholders to generate positive coverage and maximize media exposure.
- Manage incoming media requests, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
- Write and edit high-quality content across multiple platforms, including press releases, speeches, social media posts, and other communications materials.
- Coordinate with regional and international PR agencies and media influencers for collaboration and campaign amplification.
- Research market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform marketing strategies.
- Organize and manage events, from conception to execution, such as product launches, exhibitions, and conferences.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on media coverage, identifying opportunities to enhance the company's reputation and mitigate potential risks.
- Create and maintain a database of media contacts and other external stakeholders.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and developments, identifying relevant opportunities for the company to enhance its reputation and brand awareness.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field.
- Proven experience in luxury marketing and PR, especially in GCC markets.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic (written and verbal).
- Strong project management, content creation, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of CRM and marketing software.
